Getting Started with Divi Animation

Welcome to Divi Animation!

Divi Animation is designed to bring advanced motion effects to Divi 5 without requiring you to rebuild your page around a dedicated animation module. Instead, it adds animation extensions directly to supported default Divi modules inside the Visual Builder, so you can keep using your standard Divi workflow while adding richer movement and interaction where it matters most.

How Divi Animation Works

Divi Animation does not replace a module's content controls. You continue creating and editing content using the standard module settings in Divi. The plugin adds an animation layer on top of that content through additional settings inside the module's Design tab.

Depending on the module type and the extension you are using, you can apply:

  • Universal animation effects (entrance, scroll, hover, and interaction-based)
  • Text motion and reveal effects with Text Flow
  • Image reveal effects with Image Flow
  • SVG path drawing effects tied to scrolling
  • 3D hover tilt interaction with the Tilt Effect extension

Where to Find the Controls

After installing the plugin and enabling the extensions you want to use, open any supported default Divi module in the Visual Builder. Navigate to the module's Design tab and look for the relevant Divi Animation control group. Common groups include:

  • Divi Animation — for general animation and entrance effects
  • Text Flow — for animated text presentation
  • Image Flow — for image reveal and transition effects
  • SVG Draw on Scroll — for scroll-driven SVG path animation
  • Tilt Effect — for interactive hover interaction

Typical Use Cases

  • Animate section headings as visitors scroll down the page
  • Reveal product or hero images with a polished entrance effect
  • Draw SVG arrows, icons, or illustrations progressively on scroll
  • Add hover depth and movement to promo cards and call-to-action blocks
  • Improve visual storytelling and engagement across landing pages
